Long Overdue Style

Wow! I feel like it's been forever since my last post. So much has been going on lately. I'm ready to get back to blogging, because it keeps me focused on other aspects of my life. Sounds odd, but it works for me.

I planned on posting this a couple of weeks ago; however, I've been falling asleep right after dinner. Needless to say, I've been very unproductive lately. I did get out of the house last weekend to go visit my sister and a friend. I had fun, but I need to get some things finished before school starts in a couple of weeks.

Blouse {Goodwill}
Skirt {Tess Dress}
Belt {SteinMart}
Heels {Nine West}

Price Tag: Blouse-$5, Skirt-$90, Belt-$20, Heels-$20, Earrings-$0 (gifted), (Wedges-$12) = $135 ($127)

My goals for the weekend are to clean and prep the bathroom for painting, go to the movies, and schedule a massage.

What are your plans for the weekend?

Saturdays Are For Lazing Around

Saturdays are for lazing around. I think sleeping in, hanging out with friends, and eating a late lunch certainly qualify. I love the weekends when the hubs and I have no real plans. We just do whatever we want when we want. The hubs and I met up with a friend of his, so they could talk about writing (soooo not my area of knowledge). I just enjoyed my Red Rabbit Cooperative Bakery doughnut and chai tea. Delish!!

Afterwards, the hubs and I headed to the vegan yacht for some lunch. OMG! It was amazing!! You can see our lunch on their Facebook page. So awesome they posted our order. Thank you, the vegan yacht. Every time I tell someone about any vegan food that I've eaten their immediate response is "Ewww. Vegan?" All I can say is don't knock it until you try it. Vegan food can be amazingly delicious. And that is what you can expect at the vegan yacht! I had the "freeto" burrito (the hubs had the "freeto" pie) and it was so amazing that I kept eating after I was full (basically, I ate the whole thing, minus two bites).

Tee: Banana Republic Outlet
Sunglasses: Banana Republic
Earrings: Gifted

Cute pins from the vegan yacht.

Tee: Home Slice
Sunglasses: RayBan

This is how content we felt afterwards.

After lunch, the hubs and I went down to SoCo to try to find something for the hubs to wear to his upcoming book launch party. Of course, I already have my outfit picked (What fashion blogger wouldn't?). Actually, I'm wearing my shoes as I write this post so that they will stretch a little before that night. Stay tuned for all of the details of the book launch party!! I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it! I'm about to loose my mind and I think I like it! Ok, yes I'm drinking a bottle of wine while I type this post. It's been a long week and I'm not driving, so I can.

I will do my best to post the details of the hubs's upcoming book launch party this upcoming week. Yes, we plan on going downtown afterwards. And of course it will be fun! You are all welcome to join us!

I hope you all are having a great weekend!!!

D'Andra
